Email has quickly become something business relies on to function properly but many individuals and organisations do not realise that email is also a security nightmare.

Sure, "spam" (or unwanted email) is annoying and time consuming but often no more than that. "Phishing", trojans bombs and many other techniques however are designed to gain access to your personal information whereas ndr bombs or DOS attacks can render systems inoperative.

Many of these attacks are from automated systems so the instigators can't be reached or reasoned with, the only defence is to install robust, automatic protection systems and monitor them closely.
